As a reliable financial institution, CJSC Bank Arvand places particular emphasis on the development and continuous improvement of its operational risk management system.

The obtaining of the License of the National Bank of Tajikistan No. 0000105 dated 30 September 2019 marked an important milestone in the process of merging two credit institutions and their transformation into Closed Joint-Stock Company Bank Arvand.

CJSC Bank Arvand values its reputation and long-term success and supports compliance with applicable legislation by all clients, partners and employees of the Bank. Therefore, the implementation of measures aimed at managing operational risks is one of the Bank’s priority areas of activity.

The Bank’s activities are aimed at establishing and maintaining relationships with its clients, partners and employees based on fairness, mutual trust, respect and cooperation.

As part of its operational risk management framework, it is important for the Bank to receive timely information, through all available communication channels, about potential or identified operational risk events that may involve signs of corruption or fraud, whether reported by the Bank’s clients and partners or by its employees.

The Bank encourages the disclosure of information regarding suspected or identified violations, as well as any other actions or omissions that may result in, or have resulted in, violations of applicable requirements. The Bank ensures the anonymity and confidentiality of the information provided.

CJSC Bank Arvand continuously develops and improves its activities while complying with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan and applicable international law, professional ethics requirements, high standards and best practices of corporate governance, and the principles of honest, open and transparent conduct.

Corporate culture plays an important role in improving the Bank’s activities. A key element of this culture is zero tolerance for corruption and fraud in all their forms and manifestations.

Guided by the principle of “zero tolerance” towards corruption and fraud, the Bank has developed and implemented Anti-Corruption Procedures and an Employee Code of Conduct, which ensure a consistent approach to organizing activities aimed at preventing and combating corruption and fraud.
